And now reader, we would like to go to Japan or known as Nippon. The country which have many cultures and histories. The pronunciation Nippon is more formal, and is in Japanese used for most official purposes, including international sporting events.
Japan also known the country of Land of the Rising Sun. Japanese cuisine is known for its emphasis on seasonality of food quality of ingredients and presentation. Most of all program TV in Japan airing about food.

Onigiri also known as o-musubi, nigirimeshi, or rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice formed into triangular or oval shapes and often wrapped in nori (seaweed).

The type of rice that used for making this onigiri is ordinary Japanese rice, or uruchima. When cooked it has a somewhat sticky texture such that it can easily be picked up and eaten with chopsticks. Outside of Japan it is sometimes labeled as sushi rice, as this is one of its common uses.
Traditionally, an onigiri is filled with pickled ume (umeboshi), salted salmon, katsuobushi, kombu, tarako, or any other salty or sour ingredient as a natural preservative. Because of the popularity of onigiri in Japan, most convenience stores stock their onigiri with various fillings and flavors. There are even specialized shops which only sell onigiri to take out.

At glance, onigiri seems like ketupat which popular in Indonesia during Islamic tradition lebaran (Eid ul-Fitr). The differential between onigiri and ketupat is the method of cooking, packing, and preserving. Onigiri often wrapped in nori (seaweed) and ketupat wrapped with coconut leaves.

Drink

As far as I know, typical beverage from Japan is Sake. Sake is an alcoholic beverage of Japanese origin that is made from fermented rice. I wouldn't to discuss that the inappropriate one, and i would like to discuss the healthy one instead.
Japanese green tea also known as ocha. Ocha contains a variety of enzymes, amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, sterols, related compounds, phytochemicals, and dietary minerals.
